Double Trouble

When I stepped out of the actor’s abode, I was in a daze. I understood why Lean chose him for A Passage to India. Seeking to soak myself in his surroundings I sat on a bench overlooking a cemetery nearby.

Suddenly I sensed somebody’s presence by my side: a lady, her mystic eyes fixed on me. “Are you a writer?” She asked.

“Well, I was trying to compose a nifty intro to an interview I just did.”

“You’ve an uncanny resemblance to my fiancé”, she said, “I mistook you for him. He lies under the cold earth in this cemetery…”
